Denise Morden
Unforgettable Vintage
www.unforgettablevintage.com
It is destiny; Denise has been moving toward this point since early childhood, when, at three, she would hand work the treadle of her French seamstress Grandmother’s antique Singer, and learned to appreciate the fabrics, and fabrications, the glamour, delicacy and subtle sensuality of bygones times. She wore vintage since the 1960s, and has been self employed in some aspect of design since the 1970s. The 80s and 90s were spent in full time jewelry design, again using vintage components...which slowly morphed into the full time sale of vintage finery.
Four stores and twenty years later, she has come full circle, returning to design, with the added element of incorporating all her beloved vintage components. Without stores, and the need to cross many eras, Denise has been able to focus on her favorites, Edwardian to Depression eras, with the new motto, “Restore it as authentically as possible, or re-purpose the parts into something wonderful and very wearable…nothing goes to waste!”.

So, in addition to her amazing collection of highest quality vintage items, there are now the re-purposed jewelry, clothing and hats…all hand created from components from 1890 – 1940: beaded, sequined dress parts, trims, jewelry components… keeping the past alive today.
Her collection, and the creations, can be seen at all the Vintage Fashion Expos, and can be found on the website, www.unforgettablevintage.com.
Remember, looking swell is the best revenge....so...always strive to be UNFORGETTABLE !!!
